the Staff Selection Commission Conducts the Combined Graduate level Examination for the Various Departmental Post in the Government of India Yes, the Paper pattern of the SSC CGL Exam is Changed the the Changes of the Paper Pattern in the SSC CGL Exam is given below 1. Tier I paper will be SHORTENED to 100 questions (worth 200 marks) and 75 minutes. 2. Both Tier I and Tier II papers will be conducted ONLINE. 3. There will be NEGATIVE MARKING of 0.5 marks per wrong answer in Tier I exam. 4. A DESCRIPTIVE Paper has been added as the third stage after the change in SSC CGL 2016 Exam Pattern. 5. The Descriptive Paper will be BILINGUAL - available in both English and Hindi. You can choose any one medium. 6. The Descriptive Paper will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode. 7. The final marking will only consider the scores of Tier I, Tier II and Tier III exams. 8. There will be NO SECTIONAL CUT OFFS. 9. Tier I exam is scheduled to be held from 27th August 2016. Remained the same in SSC CGL Exam Pattern 1. The marking scheme for Tier II exam remains unchanged. 2. The negative marking scheme for Tier II exam remains unchanged. 3. The subjects, marks and timing of the Tier II exam remains unchanged. 4. The fourth stage is only qualifying and is only applicable to certain posts.
