Citibank Global Transfers is an online funds transfer facility available for Citibank NRI Customers to send funds from Citibank Non-Resident External Rupee Checking Account to a Citibank Account in select countries overseas. Citibank Global Transfers are almost rapid.


One will also be able to see the exchange rate that will be applied for transactions prior to completing transfer. One does not pay any transaction fee for these transfers.


For protection, limits are applicable for these transfers. The sending limit for Citibank is INR 620,000 per transaction per day and INR 3,100,000 per month. Transfers are also limited to 5 transactions per day and 10 transactions per month.
