Cheque Clearing Process In SBBJ
I want to know the process of Clearing Cheque in State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ) so can you tell me? State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ) is an associate bank of State Bank of India. The Bank was established in 1963. Its branch network out of Rajasthan covers all the major business centres of India. SBBJ Cheque Clearing Process Banker's Cheques are issued for making payments locally. Issuance/payment of Banker's Cheque for Rs.50,000/- and above is to be made only through the bank account. Validity period of Banker's Cheque is 6 months. This can be revalidated by the issuing branch on written request of the purchaser. Clearing process for non CTC 2010 cheques- The Payee would deposit the cheque is his/her bank. If the payee or beneficiary of cheque has an account in the same bank in the same city the funds are credited into his account through internal arrangement of the bank If the beneficiary has an account with any other bank in the same or in any other city, then his banker would ensure that funds are collected from the payer’s banker through a clearing house. The time line for clearing of local cheques will be extended by additional day in case of branches having non-Sunday weekly off and for 7 days branches, where branches are functioning on Sunday.
