In the wake of reports that the Defence Research and Development Organization's (DRDO) PCs were ruptured by Chinese programmers, Defense Minister requested a test into the issue and looked for a status report on the digital security circumstance in the office.

The reports had proposed that programmers from China had hacked the DRDO's PCs and trucked away electronic records identifying with Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), the nation's most noteworthy basic leadership body on security issues, to a server in Guangdong in China.

"The minister has asked Defence Secretary to look into the reports of the DRDO's PCs being hacked and present a report to him at the earliest," a Defence Ministry official said.
