CISF Constable Selection Process

As you have asked about the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable selection process, I am giving you information about it, check below for the details Constable/ GD recruitment is carried out by SSC (Staff Selection Commission). The recruitment will comprise of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination Eligibility: The educational qualification for the Constable/GD in CISF is 10th class pass from recognized board/university Selection process includes: Verification of Eligibility Standards (Physical Standard test) Written Examination Objective type question paper to be answered on OMR sheet of 100 marks of 02 hours duration containing 100 questions on General Intelligence, General Studies/Elementary science, General English or Hindi and Arithmetic Category Qualifying marks in written examination. General 35% SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen 33% Skill test norms on computer – English Typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM on computer or Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM on computer ( Time allowed -10 mts) (35 w.p.m. in English and 30 w.p.m. Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English /9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer ). Medical Examination:- Candidates selected in order of merit (equal to the number of vacancies notified) will be put through a detailed Medical examination to ascertain their fitness.
