CLAT is for how many years
I would like to know about the how many years of course is the Common Law Admission Test. so will you please give it to me? also tell me from where I can download the syllabus and the last year question paper of the Common Law Admission Test? give me the date of the exams? Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to 21 National Law Universities in India. It is conducted by the 21 participating law schools in rotation, in the order of their establishment, starting with National Law School of India University which conducted CLAT-2008. Yes, one has to clear Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission in any of the Program - LLB or BALLB – in India. CLAT UG Eligibility There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT. As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent exam), one must have secured: 45% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/ PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories 40% marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. One appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April is also eligible to appear in CLAT exam. However, one shall be required to produce an evidence of the passing the qualifying exam at the time of admission, failing which one shall lose the right to be considered for admission. The result of the qualifying exam (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course. In case of equal marks, the break of tie is by the following procedure and order as under: Higher marks in the component /section on legal aptitude in the CLAT exam; Higher age; Computerised draw of lots.
