CLAT PU Chd
I would like to collect the information about the PU Chandigarh (Chd) Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). I want to law course so I have to clear it. Can you please share the notification and important dates for the PU Chandigarh (Chd) Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)? Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to 17 prominent National Law Universities in India. The test is taken after the Higher Secondary Examination or the 12th grade for admission to integrated undergraduation programmes in Law and after Graduation in Law for Master of Laws(LL.M) programmes conducted by these law universities. Eligibility Criteria Only Indian nationals and NRIs can appear in the test. The foreign nationals desirous of taking admission to any course in any of the participating Law Universities may directly contact the concerned University having seats for foreign nationals Examination pattern This law entrance exam is of two hours duration. The CLAT question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. There are five sections in CLAT exam paper wherein students need to answer questions from subjects such as: English including Comprehension General Knowledge and current Affairs Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) Legal Aptitude Logical Reasoning Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, aspirants are given one mark and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks are deducted from their total score. Syllabus : English including comprehension: The English section will test the candidates' proficiency in English based on comprehension passages and grammar. In the comprehension section, candidates will be questioned on their understanding of the passage and its central theme, meanings of words used therein, etc. The grammar section requires correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc. General Knowledge and Current Affairs:The General knowledge will be tested on the general awareness including static general knowledge. Questions on current affairs will test candidates on their knowledge of national and international current affairs. Mathematics:This section will test candidate's knowledge on elementary mathematics, i.e., maths taught up to 10th Class/standard. Legal Aptitude: This section will test candidate's interest towards study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions may include legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied. Some propositions may not be "true" in the real sense, candidates will have to assume the "truth" of these propositions and answer the questions accordingly. 5.
