As per your concern I will let you know CMAT exam details and will also let you know scoring pattern and rule for negative marking.

Here is the rule

Scoring Pattern And Rule For Negative Marking
For each correct answer there are 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted

Exam pattern
The CMAT MBA Exam is a computer based test. The questions asked in the exam were objective type and 180 minutes were given to attempt these 100 MCQ’s.

For every correct answer marked, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for marking a wrong answer.

The test pattern can be easily understood from the table given below.

Types of Questions No. of Questions Maximum Marks
Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation 25 100
Logical Reasoning 25 100
Language Comprehension 25 100
General Awareness 25 100

Eligibility
The candidate should be an Indian citizen and can apply for the test irrespective of his or her age.

He/she must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.

Also, final year pursuing students of Graduate courses whose result will be declared before commencement of admissions for the academic year 2017-18 were also eligible to apply.

No age restriction.

Fee structure
General/OBC: Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable
SC/ST/PD: Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable
In Foreign Countries: $125 + Bank charges as applicable
