As per my knowledge the CMJ University is not a open University. There is no any distance education facility is provided by CM University. The CMJ University was not authorized to open offcampus centre(s)/study centre(s) beyond the territorial jurisdiction of the State of Meghalaya as per the judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Prof. Yashpal vs. State of Chhattisgarh.

CMJ University is offering undergraduate and post graduate courses including M.Phil and Ph.D programmes in various academic disciplines

CMJ University is a private university located in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. Created through a state act in 2009, it is the first private university established in Meghalaya.


The campus was situated on a 40-acre campus on a hillock in Jorabat on the Guwahati-Shillong Highway
