Can you please provide me the details of the college hostel of the Sophia College at the city of the Mumbai?

Sophia College, was founded in the year 1941, and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

The Governing Body of the Society for the Higher Education of Women in India runs the College. The Religious Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus provides the staff of the College.

Admission Procedure - Senior College

Students who pass the H.S.C. Examination conducted by the Maharashtra Board are eligible to join the F.Y.B.A./F.Y.B.Sc./ F.Y.B.M.M./ F.Y.BSC(IT) courses at the college.

Students who pass the H.S.C., I.S.C., C.B.S.E., or any other qualifying examination from any Board/University other than Maharashtra Board should obtain the “provisional Eligibility Certificate” from the Registrar, University of Mumbai, before seeking admission to the College.

For the purpose of confirmation of eligibility for admission to the University, students must submit the following certificates in the original along with Xerox copies of the same, to the College Office after they have obtained admission to the college:
1. Passing Certificate.
2. Statement of Marks.
3. Migration Certificate.

Application forms to the college are available only after the H.S.C results (Maharashtra Board) are declared.

There are about 100 students at the hostel who get the homely environment at the hostel of the college as the hostel of the college clean and well maintained by the college.

Here each student receive the personal attention and being encouraged to become proficient at the academics of the college.

Participation in extra-curricular activities is expected of the occupants of the hostel at the college is that they can excel even in the fields that is beyond the academics at the college.
