As per your requirement here is the Eligibility for Combined Engineering Services Examination TNPSC

Eligibility-
Age should not exceed 30 years as on the last date of the receipt of application.

No maximum age limit for SC/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM and destitute widows of all castes.

Age relaxation upto 5 years is available for persons those who are affected by the ban order as per the orders of the Government.

Educational Qualification-

Name of Post Needed Qualification
1) Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Building Organisation, PWD &

B.E. degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural Engineering of any University or Institution recognized by the organization, PWD University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grants.

2)Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Water Resourses Organisation, PWD

Pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under Civil Engineering branch, and should furnish the evidence of having undergone practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year

3) Assistant Engineer (Electrical in PWD)

Degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering
Passed in Sections A and B of the Institution Examination with Electrical Engineering as a subject


4) Assistant Engineer in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department

B.E in Civil Engineering in university recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant.

Passed in Sections A and B of the Institution Examination under Civil Engineering branch and he/she should furnish evidence of having undergone practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year

5) Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Highways Department

B.E in Civil Engineering from any university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant.

Passed in Sections A and B of the Institution Examination under Civil Engineering branch.

6) Assistant Inspector of Factories-
Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or Textile technology from any university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant.

7) Junior Electrical Inspector -
Degree in Electrical Engineering from any university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant.
