COMEDK PGET Medical Stands for Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka PG Entrance Test. It is organized to determine the merit of individuals with the method that is effective, transparent and completely fair and non-exploitative. Eligibility Criteria The candidates belonging to General category must obtain 50% marks and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe (All India)/Backward Classes are enough 40% marks. The applicant must have completed ‘Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship’ before April 30 2017 and obtained Medical Council of India (MCI)/ Dental Council of India (DCI) certificate. COMEDK PGET 2017 Dates : Notification for receiving Request for Application Form (RFA) to write COMEDK PGET 2017 November 2016 Start date for Online Application Form November 2016 Last date for Filling up the COMEDK PGET 2017 Online Application Form January 2017 Last date for receipt of COMEDK PGET 2017 Application Form December 2016 Downloading of Online Test Admission Ticket January 2017 COMEDK PGET 2017 Test Day January 2017 ( 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM ) Publishing of Provisional Answer Keys January 2017 Last date for receiving objections pertaining to Provisional Answer Keys January 2017 Publishing of Final Answer Keys February 2017 Publishing of Test Score February 2017 Publishing of Rank List and uploading of Online Rank Card February 2017 COMEDK PGET Examination Pattern There will be one separate test for PG Medical and another separate test for PG Dental Courses. Each test will have 180 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The test comprises of two sections in each stream: Medical Stream Section I: Direct MCQ’s – 120 questions of 1 mark each Section II: Clinical vignettes linked MCQs– 60 question of 1 mark each Dental Stream Section I : Direct MCQ’s – 148 questions of 1 mark each Section II : Clinical vignettes linked MCQs– 32 question of 1 mark each The test will be held on the mentioned time and date in all the test centres simultaneously and the time allotted for the test is 180 minutes (3 hours). The test will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 01:00 PM. Each correct answer is awarded one mark. There will be no negative marking. |
