Hey!! Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental of Karnataka (COMEDK )holds the entrance examination called as COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) for providing admission to the UG courses in the field of engineering. Important Dates of 2016 of this Exam are: -The start date of the request for application form – 8th February 2016 -Last Date of the request for application form – 4th April 2016 -Last Date of filling the application form –4th April 2016 -Downloading of Admit Card/hall ticket – 30th April 2016 -Date of engineering examination – 8th May 2016 -Publishing of provisional Answer Key – 13th May 2016 -Publishing the final Answer Key – 26th May 2016 -Date of Result – 28th May 2016 -Date of Counselling (Engineering) – 28th June 2016 -Date of Counselling (Architecture) – 13th July 2016 Eligibility Criteria: -The candidates must have passed the 12th or PUC or any equivalent examination from any recognized board (without open university/board) of the country with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks (40% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in English as a subject in 12th class. -The candidates must have passed in individual subject. -The Physics, Mathematics and English are compulsory while Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any other technical vocational course is an optional subject. -Diploma candidates are not eligible to appear the exam as it does not have any lateral entry scheme. Exam Pattern The examination will be asked in English language and objective questions only. There will not be any negative marking for the wrong answer. One mark will be given to each correct answer. There will be two paper for each; engineering either medical as each will be of two-hour.
