Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) Exam is a state level entrance test conducted by the Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi for admissions in full-time diploma programmes in polytechnics (engineering & non-engineering) offered by various institutions of Delhi.

Delhi CET Eligibility Criteria


Candidates must have passed 10th or equivalent exam with Science, Mathematics & English Subjects.

Students should have scored minimum 35% marks in Science, Mathematics & English subjects.

Candidates must have passed in Science, Mathematics & English separately without grace marks.

Candidates who are waiting for their result of qualifying examination in 2017 are also eligible to apply.

For Pharmacy course, candidates must have passed 12th from any recognized board with securing minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST category in physics, chemistry, Biology/Mathematics group.

Delhi CET Exam Pattern


Type of Question: In examination, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked.

The question paper will be held through Pen & Paper mode.

There will be 150 objective type questions will be asked. 50 question will ask from Mathematics, 40 from Physics, 30 from Chemistry, 15 from Biology & English.

Duration of Exam: The examination will be conducted for 2 hrs and 30 min.

Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.

Language of Exam: The question paper will be asked in Hindi and English language.
