Re: Common Entrance Test For Central Universities

Central University Common Entrance Test CUCET is conducted jointly by the Central University of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu states for admission to various courses under UG, PG and PhD domains in various fields of education offered by the participating universities.

CUCET Eligibility

UG-

10+2 or higher secondary from the relevant disciplines with 50% of aggregate marks from recognized educational boards.

PG-

Bachelor’s degree or graduation or equivalent examination in 10+2+3 format in relevant course and discipline for which they apply.

Candidates need to be Indian citizens only with local or non-local status.

Candidates appearing for final year examination can also apply

Age Limit -


Candidates need not be less than 21 years of age.

CUCET Paper Pattern:-

All Question Papers will be MCQ

The questions are based on-

Part A: Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills–comprising of 25 MCQs

Part B: Domain Knowledge– comprising of 75 MCQs. This part may consist of three/four/five sections. Each section will have 25 questions. A candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions). However, he must ensure that he fills right circles in the OMR Sheet corresponding to the question numbers attended.

For Admission to some Integrated Courses/ MBA/MCA /LLB/LLM or any other general course(s), only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.

Each paper will be only of Two Hours Duration.

There will be no negative marking.

Registration fees-


If candidates belong to general or OBC category, then they need to pay 500/- if applying for one academic program through online, but in offline they should make payment of 550/-.

If they wish to apply for more than one program need to pay extra 100/- Which is applicable for both modes.

In the case if candidate belongs to SC/ST category have to make payment of 250/- for one academic program in online and 300/- in offline.
If they wish to apply for more than one program need to pay extra 50/- Which is applicable for both modes.
