Can you tell me in detail about the Convocations held in Nirma University? Also list me the names of all the Chief Guests of Convocations of the University?

Nirma University organises Convocations for award Degrees and medals concerning such Degrees to its students. In addition, it accords prime importance to the convocations as a means to acknowledge, appreciate and award the deeds of the students.

Convocations are scheduled in the month of April and October every year so that one graduating under different programmes can receive the degrees at the earliest completion of the course.

In the month of April the degrees are conferred to one from the Institute of Management and Institute of Law. In October the degrees are awarded to one from Institute of Technology, Institute of Pharmacy and Institute of Science. The PhD students graduating are conferred degrees during both the convocations.

The University also has a tradition of inviting top name and veterans from diverse fields to confer the awards to the meritorious students and also to inspire and motivate and enlighten the students.
