Uttarakhand Technical University Notifies B.Tech Admission for the Eligible Candidates Desirous to take Admission in Undergraduate Engineering Programs in B. Tech

Admission will be through JEE Main Merit list and the Performance in Class XII of the Uttarakhand state Board or an Equivalent Exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 Examination from Recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects- Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science or Biology.

Candidate shall secure at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC category candidates) in the above subjects taken together.

There is No Entrance Exam.

Admissions are through JEE Main 2015 Scores and are conducted at the State Level

Uttarakhand B. Tech Admission Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be Selected on the Basis of JEE Main Scores.

Uttarakhand B. Tech Application Procedure:

Application fee: Rs.1000 + Rs.60 (Bank charges)

Paid via: SBI Challan

Uttarakhand B. Tech Admission Counseling Process:

Counseling for Uttarakhand Engineering Admissions will be Conducted in 2 Rounds as per Schedule .

Candidates must pay the Counseling Fee, Register and fill Their Choices.

The Seat Allotment will be Done on the Basis of the JEE Main Scores and the Choices Filled in by the Candidates

Candidates must thereafter report for the Admissions After their Document Verification is Completed.


Following Documents are Required at the time of Counseling :

High School Certificate.
Mark sheets of qualifying examination.
GATE / GPAT score card If applicable.
Category and subcategory certificate(s), if applicable.
Passport size photo. ( 2 Nos. ).
Domicile Certificate.
Medical Certificate / Undertaking.
Drafts of 1000/- ( counseling fee ) and 10000/- ( advance admission fee ) in favour of Finance Controller, Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
