A act of Parliament in 1956 set up a the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as a self-ruling Institution of national significance and characterized its destinations and capacities. By goodness of this Act, the Institute grants its own medicinal degrees and other academic qualifications. The degrees granted by the Institute under this Act are recognised medical qualifications with the end goal of the Indian Medical Council Act and, despite anything contained in that, are regarded to be incorporated into the primary timetable of that Act, qualifying the holders for the same benefits as those appended to the equivalent honors from different Universities of India. Selection Test - At a Glance The fundamental data with respect to the system points of interest for admission to various projects by the Institute are given underneath.
