Cumulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA)

An allowance of Rs 3 Lakhs for a block of three years is made available to faculty members (including faculty on contractual basis) on reimbursable foundation to facilitate presentation of their research work in conferences, paying the membership fee of a variety of professional bodies, books and dependent expenses.

Dean (FA) is the approving authority for disbursement under this head.

The conference amount is mainly intended for international conferences but
Can be spent for National conferences as well if support for the latter cannot be provided by the Department.

CPDA cannot be utilized during the period in which a faculty member may be on lien or strange leave.
