Are CSE students eligible for Indian Engineering Service exam?

I am from CSE stream and now I want to give the exam of Indian Engineering Service exam and for that I want to get the details that are CSE students eligible for Indian Engineering Service exam so can you provide me that?

As you want to get the details of are CSE students eligible for Indian Engineering Service exam so here it is for you:

In some posts in Indian Engineering Service examination students from computer science stream can apply, but firstly you must read notification for your confirmation.

In notification you will find some subjects and based on those subjects you can aapply for the exam of Indian Engineering Service

Generally Indian Engineering Service examination is mainly valid for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Electronics students.

IES exam is conducted to fill vacancies only in these four departments:
Category I—Civil Engineering
Category II—Mechanical Engineering
Category III—Electrical Engineering
Category IV—Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Educational Qualifications

You have to pass a degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.

Age-limits
21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination.

Exam pattern :
Written Examination
Paper I (Objective type) General Ability Test
(Part A: General English)
(Part B: General Studies) 200 Marks

Papers II & III (Objective type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper

Papers IV & V(Conventional Type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper
Total marks for written Examination 1000 Marks
Personality Test 200 Marks
