Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) was built up by a demonstration (No. 25 of 2004) of lawmaking body go by the Chhattisgarh State Govt. Get together vide warning no. 639/21-A/Praroopan/04 dt 21st January 2005 to join a University and Technology with the end goal of guaranteeing precise, proficient and quality training in designing and innovative subjects including Architecture and Pharmacy at Research, Post graduate, Degree and Diploma level.

The University since its initiation in the year 2005 is endeavoring hard to develop as one of the countries conspicuous Universities to satisfy its dedication to the administration of state and country. It was introduced on 30th April 2005 by the Hon'ble Prime-Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh. The University without sitting tight for undeniable foundation improvement began recognizing the wilderness zone of innovative work and effort programs for the advantage of the general public. With this approach a few scholastic projects, courses, workshops and meetings have been directed by the University amid recent years.
