Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rekleased the notification for the recruitment of Teachers for Classes I to VIII through Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

The application process of the recruitment was held from 22-06-2016 to 18-07-2016.

CTET exam 2016 was conducted on 18-09-2016

CTET eligibility-

For Classes I-V (Primary Stage):


Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002

or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Or

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education

For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Or

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on Examination.

Important Dates:

Starting Date to Apply Online 22-06-2016
Last Date to Apply Online 18-07-2016
Last date for payment of fees through E-Challan or Debit/ Credit Card 19-07-2016 by 03:30 PM
Period for On-line Corrections in Particulars (No correction will be
allowed in any particulars after this date) 20-07-2016 to 25-07-2016
Final status of application check the status of application and/or Particulars of candidate whose fees received 20-07-2016
Download Admit Card from CTET website 17-08-2016
Date of Examination Paper I: 18-09-2016 at 14:00 to 16:30 hrs
Paper II: 18-09-2016 at 09:30 to 12:00 hrs
Centre of Examination As Indicated on the Admit card
Declaration of Results on or before 2nd Week of November (tentatively)

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay the examination fee Rs. 600/- for any one paper & Rs. 1000/- for both the papers

SC/ ST/ Diff. Abled Person have to pay Rs. 300/- for any one paper & Rs. 500/- for both papers

Pay the fees through E-Challan by deposit the fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank or By Debit/ Credit Card.
