Is CTET equivalent to KTET
Hello, I want to know the difference of the CTET and KTET as I want to know that both are equivalent or not? Hello, here I am providing you the details of the CTET and KTET as both are teachers’ exam and CTET is held by the CBSE and KTET is hold by Kerala government. There is no much difference in between. Minimum Qualifications for KTET Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) [ by whatever name known ] conducted by Board of Examination, Government of Kerala or its equivalent. OR Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002. OR Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Minimum qualifications for CTET: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or; Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed); or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education Application fees: KTET: 500/- CTET: 1000/- Last edited by Anuj Bhola; February 11th, 2020 at 08:48 AM. |
