Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for candidates interested to be appointed as a teacher for class 1 to class 8.

The exam is scheduled to be held on September 18, 2016.

Education Qualification :

For Paper I :

Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education, 2 years Diploma in Education.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

For Paper II :

Graduation with at least 50% marks with 1 year Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Application Fees :

Candidates have to pay the examination fee Rs. 600/- for any one paper & Rs. 1000/- for both the papers.

SC/ ST/ Diff. Abled Person have to pay Rs. 300/- for any one paper & Rs. 500/- for both papers.
