The eligibility requirement for applying for M Tech program through the CUCET - Central Universities Common Test is as follows:

Academic Qualification
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent.
Candidates appearing for the final examinations are also eligible.

Science/IT with at least 60% marks at the qualifying degree level (55% for for SC/ST/PwD category candidates
Preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE scores.

2.
Central University of Kashmir (CUKAS)
Information Technology

B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering through regular course of study from an UGC/AICTE approved institution with at least 55% marks (50% for
SC/ST/PWD) in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA

OR
M.Sc.IT/MCA having BCA/BSc IT through regular course of study from an UGC/AICTE approved institution, with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA at both the levels.

Candidate should have valid GATE score.

However, in case of non-availability of candidates with valid GATE score, non-GATE candidates will also be considered for admission.

Central University of Punjab (CUPUN)
Computer Science and Technology

B.Tech. / B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Communication from a recognized Indian or foreign university with minimum 55% marks
Preference will be given to candidates having valid GATE score.

Computer Science and Technology
(Cyber Security)
B.Tech. / B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Communication from a recognized Indian or foreign university with minimum 55% marks
Preference will be given to candidates having valid GATE score.

Food Technology
B.Tech. / B.E. Degree in Dairy Technology / Food Technology / Food Processing Technology / Food Engineering / Agri. Engineering / Chemical Engineering with minimum 55% of marks or its equivalent in aggregate

4.
Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ)
Computer Science & Engineering

B.E. /B. Tech. in any branch of Engineering /MCA /M. Sc. (CS/IT) with 50% for general category (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates etc.) in the qualifying
Examination
18 seats will be filled through CCMT 2016

5.
Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTND)
Material Science

M. Sc. Physics/Chemistry/Applied Physics/Applied
Chemistry/Material Science/Nano Science/Nano Technology or BE/B. Tech. (except Computer Science/IT).
Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission is 60% for General Category, 55% for OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
The candidates should not have completed 30 years of age as on 01-07-2016
