Open and Distance Learning Education Institute of Dr. C. V. Raman University was established in 2009 and recognized by the Distance Education Council on 1st May, 2009. It was established to take higher education to the unreached sections through information technology; to provide need and knowledge-based professional education and to set the national standards for Distance Education.
