Delhi Technical University offers B. Tech Lateral Entry Admission

Lateral Entry Programme is a continuation of technical expertise acquired after completing Diploma Programmes and offers an opportunity to Diploma holders to obtain B.Tech Degree in Engineering.

Duration :

3 years as the candidate will be admitted directly in second year of the regular B. Tech Programme.

3. SC Delhi (SCGND) - 06 Seats

5. OBC Delhi (OBGND, OBCWD) - 11 + 1 Seats

6. OBC Outside (OBGNO) - 05 Seats

7. GEN Delhi (GNGND, GNCWD, GNSGD) - 22+1+2 Seats

8. GEN Outside (GNGNO) - 05 Seats

Qualification :

Candidates must have passed a State Diploma Examination of three years duration in any branch or any other examination, Recognised equivalent there to by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters / three years) of 60% (50% for SC/ ST, PwD and 55% for OBC candidate)

Admission Procedure :

The Admission to B. Tech (Lateral Entry) Programme shall be done by Delhi Technological University on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying Exam
