University of Delhi was set up in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an act of the Central Legislative Assembly.

As per me in 2016 FYUP reform in the University of Delhi made the distribution of free laptops as a part of the programme. Students who take admission for undergraduate in July academic session will be provided with new laptops.
