How to open a Demat account in PNB:

Fill the application form to open Demat account .

Approach the authority in the authorized branch of PNB bank , with filled in application to open the account.

Produce proof of address and identity and Passport size photograph along with the filled in application form.

After review of application account will open within 5-10 days .

Charges for Demat account opening

Need not pay anything for opening the account except the stamp charges.

For account maintenance charges :
Rs 250 per annum
Rs 115 per annum if you are an employee of the bank.

Account maintenance charges for institutions :
Rs 350 per annum.

For dematerilization pay:
Rs 2.25 per certificate including postage.

For creation of pledge will pay:
Rs 60 per instruction.

To modify the account :
Rs 50 per request.
