Re: Department Of Botany University Of Jammu

The Post Graduate Department Of Botany University Of Jammu was established to train the students desirous of learning, understanding, teaching and practicing various aspects of plant sciences.

Courses were designed to take care of both the classical and contemporary aspects of Botany.

Courses offered :-

The Department offers courses for the following degrees in Botany.

1. M. Sc. Programme in Botany
2. M. Phil.
3. Ph. D.

At present below listed theory courses, of 4 credit value each, are prescribed for the 1st, IInd, IIIrd and IVth Semesters of Master's Programme in Botany.

Each semester runs for 14 to 16 weeks and the entire M. Sc. programme takes 2 years to complete.
