The program consists of 4 semesters and intake capacity of the program is 18 students. Those who have done BE or B Tech in Mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or petroleum engineering can apply for the program. The program concentrates on following topics such as petroleum exploration, environmental studies petroleum geology, reservoir engineering, basics of refining
computer applications, geophysics, drilling technology and
production engineering.
