As you Asking for the Syllabus of the Skill Based Course in“Teaching in Elementary Level” of the BA 6th Semester of the Dibrugarh University is given below


Unit-I : Question Paper Setting : 24
The students are required to set one Question Paper – in the subject opted for
Teaching Practice. The setting of the Question Paper shall include –
a) Preparation of the Designs of the question paper
b) Preparation of the Blue Prints of the question paper
c) Writing Questions in Item-Sheets – including Objective Type, Very Short Answer
Type, Short Answer Type and Essay Type questions to test Knowledge,
Comprehension, Application and Skill.
d) Organization of the questions
e) Item-wise analysis of the question papers
f) Preparation of Scoring Key and Marking Scheme

Unit-II : Preparation of TeachingLearning Materials : 16
The students will be required to prepare at least Four Teaching Learning Materials
for elementary level. The Teaching Learning Materials shall have to be prepared in the Institution itself.

Unit-III : Microteaching : 24
a) The students will be required to practice the following Teaching Skills
i) Introducing a Lesson
ii) Blackboard Writing
iii) Questioning
iv) Reinforcement
v) Stimulus Variation
vi) Demonstration
vii) Achieving Closure
b) The students will have to keep the Microteaching Lesson Plans (one each in the
above mentioned skills) and maintain a record book having feedback from the
supervisors.
