Difference between GMAT and ICET
Hi buddy can you here tell me basic deference between GMAT and ICET, as my sister want to appear in one of them exam this year ?? As you asking I am telling GMAT stand for Graduate Management Apittude Test, which is taken by international body , It can be taken any time of the year this is a computer based exam. Opposite it ICET stands for Integrated Common Entrance Test which is only for colleges in AP (Andhra Pradesh ) Indian state Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and ICET (Integrated Common Entrance test ) both exam are for admission of MBA program GMAT exam pattern The GMAT exam consists of four sections: An analytical writing assessment, integrated reasoning, the quantitative section, and the verbal section. Total testing time is three and a half hours, but test takers should plan for a total time of approximately four hours, with breaks. Test takers have 30 minutes for the analytical writing assessment and another 30 minutes to work through 12 questions, which often have multiple parts, on the integrated reasoning section and are given 75 minutes to work through 37 questions in the quantitative section and another 75 minutes to get through 41 questions in the verbal section. ICET exam pattern ICET test consists of 200 questions of 1 mark each. Duration of the Test is 2 ½ Hours (150 minutes ). For Section A & B, the medium of the test is English and Telugu and for Section C, it is only English. The qualifying percentage of marks in the ICET Entrance Test is 30% (i.e. 60 marks out of total 200 marks). However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed. Section A Section A consist of Analytical Ability with 75 marks for 75 questions. Analytical Ability is divided into 2 parts: Data Sufficiency : 20Q (20 Marks) Problem Solving: 55Q (55M) Section B Section B consist of Mathematical Ability with 75 marks for 75 questions. Mathematical Ability is divided into 3 parts: Arithmetical Ability : 35Q (35M) Algebrical and Geometrical Ability: 30Q (30M) Statistical Ability : 10Q (10M) Section C Section C consist of Communication Ability with 75 marks for 75 questions. Objectives of the Test: Identify vocabulary used in the day-to-day communication Understand the functional use of grammar in day-to-day communication as well as in the business contexts.
