Re: Difference between - MCA and BE Computer
B.E. stands for Bachelor of Engineering. It is an undergraduate degree conferred on completion of a four to five year program of engineering academic programme. M.C.A. stands for Masters of Computer Applications. It is a post-graduate academic degree that is conferred on completion of a three to four year academic course focusing on applied computer principles and programming. There is not much difference in the job profiles of the candidates from this background but the difference is in the training provided in these courses. A bachelor in Engineering is more related to developing new technologies and applications. MCA on the other hand provides more of theoretical knowledge |
