Odisha Diploma Entrance Test DET exam is a state level polytechnic entrance test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education DTE, Odisha for admission to various polytechnic regular and lateral entry courses like engineering, non-engineering, technical, film, TV and media courses in Odisha.

The Odisha DET exam 2016 will conduct in the third week of May 2016.

Odisha DET exam Eligibility

10th examination with any stream from any recognized board of India for engineering courses.

12th examination with any stream from any recognized board of India for other courses.

For pharmacy and Sound Engineering, Candidates should have science in qualifying exam.

For engineering courses, candidates should have math, science and English in qualifying exam.

Candidates should have the minimum of 35% total aggregate marks and 30% marks in each subject in qualifying exam.

Candidates appearing the qualifying exam can also apply

Minimum age criteria for engineering and Beauty Culture courses is 14 years

Minimum age criteria for other courses is 16 years
