Ever since the Osmania University established the Centre for Distance Education - Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education - in 1977, the Centre has witnessed phenomenal growth and emerged as a pioneering institution in the field of Distance Education, with Potential for Excellence.

General Information:-

There is no age restriction for admission to any course.

One from all over India will be admitted, provided one fulfil the requisite qualifying conditions mentioned for the course

One who has passed the qualifying exam conducted by the Board I University which is under the jurisdictional area of other States shall have to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the Deputy -Registrar (Academic), Osmania University to the effect that they are eligible for admission into the university courses.

MCA Entrance Test

a) One should Qualify ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test for MCA)
OR
Entrance Test Conducted by the Osmania University

b) Should have passed Bachelors Degree exam of Osmania University or any other University recognized by Osmania University with minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/BC categories ) in the qualifying exam with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level.

c) i. One who passed directly the qualifying exam with Mathematics, as one of the subjects in the Degree course is eligible for admission and

ii. Others that passed the qualifying exam without Mathematics, as one of the subjects in the Degree course, are eligible for admission if pass 10 + 2 exam with Mathematics.

d) Notification for Entrance Test for Admission into M.C.A. through Distance Mode Applications through online mode are invited for entrance test and admissions into M.C.A. courses offered by PGRR Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University under distance mode.
