DPT/MBA Degree

Mercer University's College of Health Professions and the Stetson School of Business and Economics are pleased to present the Doctor of Physical Therapy/ Master of Business Administration (DPT/MBA) dual degree program.

Students admitted to the DPT/MBA program will complete both degrees in 4 years, completing 27 credits of the MBA in year 1 (Summer, Fall and Spring semesters), followed by the required 135 credits in the 3-year DPT program.

Three courses required for the MBA degree (9 credits - three elective courses) will be fulfilled by selected courses in the DPT program Leadership series.

Program Requirements

The dual degree student will complete 27 hours of required and core MBA coursework in Summer, Fall and Spring of Year One.

The remaining 9 hours of coursework will occur within the DPT program.

Three courses in the DPT program (PT632: Leadership II: Health Policy; PT702: Leadership III: Management and PT732: Leadership IV: Lifelong Leadership) will fulfill the elective requirements.
