DRDO – Ministry of Defence has developed an innovative technology for disposal of human waste in eco-friendly manner. These Bio toilets can function at any atmospheric temp between -55 to 60 D egree C.


Bio-digester technology

Bio-digester technology is the environment friendly way to treat waste. The device can treat the human waste under anoxic conditions; can convert the human wastes into usable water and gasses in an eco-friendly manner

The technology was developed by the DRDO (Defence Research Development Organisation). It has transferred the technology to more than 3 dozen industries.
