Can you please help me regarding the admission requirements of the Btech courses at the Delhi Technological University ?

Delhi Technological University is the major university at the city of the Delhi that manages than technical education at the state.

Here are the details of the Btech admission opt the Delhi Technological University-

85% of total seats are reserved for the students of the Delhi at the university-

For Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats)

To get the admission to the DTU the candidate must have scored the minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Passing in each subject separately is necessary to get the admission.

Candidates can pass any of the following examination opt qualify for the DTU-

Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi

Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi

Bachelor of Science (General) or Bachelor of Science (Hons.) examination of a recognized university with combination of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum aggregate of 60% marks to get the admission at DTU.

Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE.

For students of the other states-

To get the admission to the DTU the candidate must have scored a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Passing in each subject separately is necessary to get the admission to the coursers at the DTU .

Then candidates must have passed any of the following examinations to qualify for the DTU-

Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year Course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi

Bachelor of Science (General) or Bachelor of Science (Hons.) examination of a recognized university with combination of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum aggregate of 60% marks

Senior School Certificate Examination (12-Year Course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) New Delhi

Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E.

Other requirements –

the candidate should also pass English as a study subject at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective).

The applicant should be between the age of 17 and 25 years on or before the first October of the years in which he/she is seeking admission to the university.
