Way to get CPR Number

If you stay in Denmark for more than 3 months, you must register with the national registration office [folkeregister] at International House Copenhagen or in the municipality where you live. This must be done within 5 days of arriving in Denmark, however it is best to register immediately upon arrival.

After registering, you will then receive your CPR number (social security number) and health insurance certificate

Marriage certificate or registered partnership certificate, if any • Birth certificates for accompanying children, if any

Proof of address in Denmark for at least 3 months (a lease agreement or letter from the owner)
