Re: DU Counselling
As you are looking for the guidelines for Delhi University Counseling here I will help you so that you can have idea. Here I’m telling you the guidelines Candidates need to be personally present in the counseling sessions in which their rank is invited, carrying all the relevant certificates mentioned below. In case a candidate is unable to present themselves, s/he can send any of their representatives with an authority letter signed by the candidate and carrying all the relevant certificates mentioned below. Candidates will be called in order of rank and asked their preference of college from among the colleges in which seats are available at that stage. They will be allotted the college chosen by them from the ones available. Candidates who are not present in the counseling session in which they are eligible for allotment of college, shall not be entertained for admission at any later stage. During the counseling session, candidates will be issued admission slips mentioning the college allotted and the last date for payment of fees. They can approach their allotted college and seek admission within the time stated in the admission slip, and in accordance with the rules applicable to the University of Delhi. Candidates who do not take admission during the stipulated time lose the right of admission to the course, and shall not be considered at any future counseling date. At every counseling session, after the first, admitted candidates will be permitted a change of college subject to availability of seats.
