As you want to know about Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the for Information Technology Administrator post of DuPage County, so here I am telling you that: -Plans for and directs information technology functions including data center operations, voice and data technical support, business analysis and application development, document imaging, printing and geographical information services -Recommends hires and promotions, directs and evaluates employment decisions for all assigned positions -Identifies and resolves employee relations and performance issues -Establishes and maintains a professional work environment while providing appropriate leadership and direction -Promotes positive morale, creativity and teamwork among staff -Evaluates employee performance and sets clear goals and expectations -Researches new technologies and recommends information technology related solutions to business needs and processes -Develops and executes plans to establish, develop, improve and maintain management information processing systems -Coordinates information technology functions with all county departments and outside agencies -Establishes and manages outside vendor relationships and negotiates contracts -Determines department priorities -Establishes the scope and direction of special studies and projects -Develops and prepares fiscally appropriate budgets that enable the department to meet its objectives -Ensures that the department functions within budget appropriations -Initiates methods to improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery within the department -Attends committee meetings to explain department initiatives and projects -Prepares bids and specification for purchases according to County procurement procedures -Establishes priorities, production control and work procedures for the department -Maintains regular attendance and punctuality For getting any other information related to this post then here I am attaching an attachment: |
