AIIMS offer Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of Surgery for a five and half-year degree course. The course involves four and a half -year of classroom study followed by a year of rotating internship.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences admits 77 students for MBBS course every year through a competitive entrance examination. Duration of this course is 5½ years i.e. 4½+ 1 year compulsory internship.
