The AP Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test EAMCET EAMCET is a state level entrance test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on the behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education APSCHE for admission in engineering and agriculture courses offered by various colleges/ institutions of Andhra Pradesh state.

Eligibility Criteria

Students should have passed or appearing in 12th or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry & mathematics subjects.

Candidates must be an Indian Nationals or PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).

Candidates must belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern

The exam pattern will be based on three subjects i.e. chemistry, physics & mathematics.

There will be objective type questions.

For each question, four options will be given candidates have to mark the right one only.

Candidates are required to use only blue/black ball point pen.

The exam will be organized in Online mode (computer based test).

The examination will be of three hours.

The question paper will contain total 160 questions.

One mark will be given for correct answer.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
