Re: ECARS 7255 Net
The East Coast Amateur Radio Service (ECARS) is 501(c)(3) non-benefit association committed to giving administration through Amateur Radio. Net Operations happen every day on 7.255 MHz (LSB). Weekday operations keep running from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm and end of the week operations keep running from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, East Coast time. Amid the late spring months, end of the week operations might be suspended. ECARS offers administration to mobiles and settled stations, including climate data, street conditions, crises, and flag reports. ECARS is an extraordinary place to meet other Amateur Radio administrators, get East Coast climate data, set up timetables, or to just listen and appreciate. You don't need to be an individual from ECARS to register with ECARS nets, all that is required is a General Class Amateur Radio permit or better. Extra operational data is accessible by selecting the ECARS site "Operations Manual," "NCS Schedule," and "NCS Operations/Tools" menu choices. ECARS Roll Call is held the second Saturday of the month on 7.255 MHz at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time, in spite of the fact that it might be suspended amid the mid year months. The Roll Call plan timetable can be seen by selecting the ECARS site 'ECARS Roll Call' menu alternative. The Executive Staff comprises of Officers chose every year, and Board of Directors who serve for two (2) years between races. A President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer constitute the ECARS officers. Selected individuals serve as Net Manager, Webmaster, and Director of Public Relations.
