Economist Salary

I am interested in the Economics subject and want to become Economists searching for the details about this field. Will you please tell what skills required to become good Economists and also provide details about the Economist Salary at different position so I can decide this field?

Economists can focus on macroeconomics, or the big picture, and provide advice to large companies and governments.

Also they can focus on microeconomics and work with individuals and families to give advice on financial planning.

Economists may also take a more academic approach and develop and teach theories for other economists to use.

Economists may work for large corporations or small non-profits.

Economists work for non-governmental policy institutes known as "think tanks."

Convey complex information to co-workers and other individuals
Critical thinking and analysing skills
Keen judgment and decision-making aptitudes
Outstanding mathematical abilities
Solve complex, multi-variable problems

Senior salary: $130,000 P/A
Average salary: $85,000 P/A
Wages will vary according to your level of skill, experience and employer
