What is the minimum education qualification required to become Custom officer in India???

In order to become a Customs Officer, You have to appear for the Civil Services Examination. This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The Civil Service Exam is conducted in two separate parts. They are the Preliminary and Main Exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification
-Must hold Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University with minimum 55% of marks

Age
-Age should be above 19 yrs and must have completed graduation.

Qualities required for the position as a Custom Officer
-Indian citizenship
-Must be able to activate a radio or telephone equipment and console monitors
-Display an aptitude to cooperate genially and communicate with the community
-Have reliable transportation
-Should never have used drugs of any kind
-Must pass an extensive background check
-Must possess a Vehicle license
-Ability to work flexible schedules
-Must be able to successfully complete all training required for the desired position
