Combined Defence Services CDS Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC two times in a year for admissions to Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA).

CDS Eligibility

Educational Qualification-

For IMA and OTA-

You need a degree of a recognized university.

For INA-

Degree in engineering is required.

For AFA-

You should have a recognized degree and Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Women candidates are eligible for OTA only.

Age Limit-

Indian Military Academy 19-24 years
Air Force Academy 19-24 years
Naval Academy 19-22 years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 years

Examination pattern-

Indian Military Academy / Air Force Academy / Naval Academy
