Eligibility For AIIMS Delhi
What are the eligibility criteria required for the AIIMS Delhi MBBS entrance exam? I passed the class 12th in science biology and I got the 65% marks in class 12th. Am I eligible to apply for the AIIMS Delhi MBBS entrance exam? If yes then please share the detailed information about it?

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS Entrance Examination is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for admission to MBBS programmes offered in AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh. AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Nationality 1. One must be of Indian origin. 2. One who belongs to Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) category should be registered under Section 7A of Indian Citizenship Act 1955 and need to submit their registration proof while applying for AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam. 3. One belonging to foreign nationals’ category should be nominated by the Indian Government. One will not be required to appear for AIIMS MBBS entrance examination, however, should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate of the subjects– Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English studied at intermediate examination or 12th board examination recognised by AIIMS Delhi. Moreover, such candidates should be eligible for pursuing the MBBS programme only at AIIMS New Delhi. Educational Qualification 1. One should have qualified 12th board or equivalent exam of 10+2 education system recognised by AIIMS Delhi. 2. One should have also studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects in their 10+2 level. 3. In addition to the above conditions, one belonging to General and OBC categories should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of aforesaid subjects and those belonging to SC, ST and OPH categories should have obtained at least 50%. Age Criteria I. One applying for AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance examination should have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as on December 31, 2017. II. Moreover, one born on or after January 2, 2001 will not be considered eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam. |
