Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer based test conducted in India by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have graduation degree in any discipline and should have attained minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA For reserved categories the percentage is reduced to 45%. Reservation of Seats Reservation of seats for SC Candidates: 15% Reservation of seats for ST candidates: 7.5% Reservation of seats for OBC: 27% Reservation of seats for the person with disabilities: 3% Courses offered under CAT -PGPEM -PGP -PGP-ABM -PGPBM -PGP-UAE -PGPWE -PGPPM -EPGPM -PGP-Mumbai -PGPSM -PGDHRM -PGDM -PGPEX Paper Pattern: Section Marks Time Limit Quantitative Ability 34 60 Minutes Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension 34 60 Minutes Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning 32 60 Minutes Important Dates Official date of CAT 2016 exam notification: 31st July, 2016 Starting date of CAT 2016 Registration: 8th August 2016 Last date of registration:22nd September, 2016 5.00 PM Admit card issued Date: 18th October, 2016 CAT 2016 exam date: 4th December, 2016 Date of Result announcement: 2nd Week of January, 2017 |
